Salerno: International Cinema Festival, with screenings of art films in the original language
The Festival takes place in November and involves two theatres in Salerno: the “Teatro Verdi” and the “Teatro Augusteo”. Many renowned Italian and international artists take part in the event. The screenings of these films in their original language are often followed by discussions featuring members of the cast.

Salerno: Fiera del Crocifisso (Festival of the Crucifix)
This event, which takes place every March, is one of Salerno’s most famous historical traditions. The “Crocifisso” (Crucifix) is a large market hosting craftsmen from all over the Region. The fair is located in the area surrounding the “Arechi” Stadium and is held every Friday throughout March.

Baronissi (SA): Sagra delle Ciliegie (Festival of the Cherries)
June is an ideal month for a cycling holiday in Campania and also the time when the cherry is celebrated at this well-known festival. Many varieties of the fruit are on show and for sale.
