The charm of the Milan-Sanremo has also conquered the world of cycle-tourism. They won’t be only professionals of the two wheels therefore to challenge on the beautiful roads of Liguria coasts. On 5th June 2011 all the bike lovers can ride on the run of the classical race for professionals, taking part to the Milan-Sanremo Gran Fondo for cycle-tourists. Of course, it won’t be an easy walk, and to participate you must be well trained to face long distances. Also this Milan-Sanremo in fact won’t practise any “discount” about the run, which will be 290 kilometres long, really as in the classical famous race. Also the whole run will be the same on which they ride the champions. After the start in Milan, riders will cross Lombardy and Piedmont, before to climb the mythical Turchino Pass and reach Liguria to face the long coast run that will bring up to the finish line in Sanremo. As the professionals, we will climb quickly on the slopes of Capo Mele, Capo Cervo and Capo Berta, and then on Cipressa and Poggio, in the exciting landscape of the Liguria Western coast.
