La Vuelta of Spain starts on August 29 and ends on September 20, waiting the 2009 World Cycling Championships start.
The route includes 3.266 kilometers in 21 stages.
The start is in Assen in Holland, where they run the first 4 stages, with arrival in Belgium in Liege.
After moving to Spain, the real challenge begins, but without stages on the Pyrenees.
Finish in Madrid for the coronation of the gold jersey 2009.
